Jim is an association executive with over 15 years’ experience successfully leading initiatives that help organizations accomplish their goals.
As an association staffer he held a variety of roles, including second-in-command at the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, where he oversaw initiatives to automate manual processes in member services, improve financial controls, develop and launch new member programs, and increase resources to manage a new content strategy. As head of online programs at the American Association of Orthodontists, he led staff in the AMS selection and implementation, and jointly worked with the AAO Board and Delegates of the House to pilot and launch a “paperless meeting” platform.
He has also been a consultant to associations, working on technology advances as well as program design and improvements. He holds a Master of Science in Education and Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois University, and is a certified Project Management Professional.
